Yep, Robert Horry and that outside shooting of his. I wonder if Grant has considered asking him to give some pointers to the Tide BB players?

Big Shot Bob. How many NBA Championship rings does he have? It something like 7.

Let me see: 3 with the Lakers, 2 with the Rockets, 1 with the Heat= 6. He may have won a 4th one with the Lakers but I can't remember. The first one Kobe won without Shaq, I think Horry might have been there. It could be 7.

Yeah, I was going by memory. I clean forgot all about the Spurs. He won 2 with the Spurs. So it breaks down:  Lakers= 3, Spurs= 2, Rockets= 2 which = 7. What a fantastic career. He was a key player on all three teams.

Does anybody else have that many?  I don't think Jordan does, but I could be wrong.  Maybe Bird or Magic perhaps, or some of the old Celtics?

I thought he had 7 Rings. I don't think anybody ever has that many that I can remember. The old days was back and forth between the Knicks and Lakers and Celtics. The best I can remember. RTR!

From Wikipedia,
Robert Keith Horry (pronounced /ˈɒri/; born August 25, 1970) is a retired American basketball player. He played 16 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA), winning seven championships, the most of any player not to have played on the 1960s Boston Celtics. He is one of only two players to have won NBA championships with three different teams: two with the Houston Rockets, three with the Los Angeles Lakers and two with the San Antonio Spurs. Because of his clutch shooting in important games, he has earned the nickname "Big Shot Rob".[1][2] Horry now works as a commentator on ESPN.

I will also say that Robert is a great example for younger men and women also. He has always had class in all that he does as far as I can remember. RTR!

Yeah, the Bill Russell Celtics of the 1950's & 1960's won 11 NBA Championships. Bill Rusell won those 11 in 13 years of playing. They had a streak of 7 or 8 in a row. The 1967 Philadelphia Warriors, with Wilt Chamberlain, broke the streak. I think K.C. Jones was there and was part of the 11 rings, too.
