So I had a very rare thing happen yesterday, and of course I have to share this with my brethren.

I played golf yesterday afternoon. #8 at my golf course is a par 3 over water. I hit a solid 7 iron that one hopped and kissed the flag stick. It settled a few inches from the hole. The course was backed up and the group behind me thought it was a hole-in-one. The ball was just on the other side of the pin and they couldn't see it. Anyway, it was a tap-in birdie.

The next hole is the toughest, and longest par 4 on the course. I tried to kill my drive and I pushed it right. It was heading towards OB, but hit a boulder in someone's back yard and pitched left and forward into the fairway. It ended up right by the 150 marker. I hit my approach shot flush. It one-hopped and kissed the flag stick landing 5 ft from the hole. Yep, I hit back to back pins. Unfortunately, I lipped out the birdie putt. Sure made my day though.

If you can do this with a bad back, 2, your opponents should really fear you if it gets better.

OT, I think it was pretty much this.

Thanks Chech. I was luckier. He's a better golfer.

Good morning folks.  I have to run some errands today but then I go back to teleworking since I am locked out of all MDA facilities for 10 days after OCONUS travel.  Taking the day off this Thursday to take the family to Chattanooga for the day then I'll go into the office on Friday for the first time.  Only 22 more days until I fly back out to Hawaii for another 38 days.  This time I'm hoping that Mrs. Nalt and the boys will get to go along for about a week...

NALT, I'm about to hit the 16-month mark of straight teleworking.  Overall, it's kinda nice, but I would like to go to the office a day or two a week.

2, you had those irons dialed in!  Nice job.

This black wolf walked past me yesterday.  I was sitting alone atop a hill (behind sage), so it didn't see me until it was quite close.  Pretty cool.

Sure, bison are cute and photo-worthy.  But their appeal diminishes when they stand in the road, and some moron with a camera (and purple hair) stops to block traffic while taking hundreds of pics.  Maybe she'll invite you to watch her YNP photos.
