Good morning folks. Good afternoon OT.  Good to see 2 back and that he had such a great time playing with his buddies balls.  Try to stay warm Chech.  I'm planning to mow the MIL's yard today then mow my back yard (usually only needs to be mowed one time each year due to the amount of shade) then help Mrs. Nalt put her house plants outside.

I think we finally found the right impeller for my boat.  Turns out the water pump in that old motor goes on a 40 hp "commercial" outboard motor.  This motor is a 35 hp.  I have been to 3 different pacles and called some others trying to find it. Runt suggested I just buy a new motor.  Priced a new 30 hp motor yesterday at ~$5000.  No  thanks.

You're by far the hardest worker among us, NALT. I relax at home, 2 knocks around golfballs, Chech plays aound with bison, but you are always out there fixing things up. Save some of that energy for having fun. Just saying.

I'm pretty sure that IS his fun, OT.

Lol. That is probably true.  I will say though, most of my kids will out work most other folks their age.  I hope that is in part due to my making them work hard growing up.

I had an older lady tell me some time back to take a break and rest.  I told her that, "I can rest after I'm dead."

THEY CLOSED THE ENTRANCES TO YELLOWSTONE DUE TO SNOW.  That is, they closed the 2 that were open.  Whiteout at Old Faithful.

ABIGAIL HIT BY GIANT HAIL.

Remember the story of Lewis and Clarke being pelted by large hail during their foray into Montana?  Yesterday a woman (Abigail) in Montana was pelted (as she ran from her car to her house) by "tennis-ball-sized hail.  He car was badly dented, her house windows were knocked out, and she was badly bruised:

Yow! She's lucky she doesn't have any broken bones.

Is it still snowing there, Chech?

Yes, still snowing.  Fortunately much of it is melting, but not in the woods.  I walked yesterday before supper, and followed some moose tracks through the forest.  I was wearing rubber, ankle boots.  At one point I looked down, and the snow was right at the top of the boots (8-10").  Probably drifting, but we had at least 6" I'd say.

Lady I talked with yesterday told me the snow was supposed to end overnight.  But not according to the forecast I just read.  More snow moving in, and snow until at least noon.

Good news is the cold weather stopped the runoff, and Soda Butte Creek is clearing.  It looked clear enough for fishing late yesterday.  I may try it today.

This is the area of Soda Butte Creek I'm going to try.  It has native Cutthroat Trout.  But will they cooperate?

I hope it stops snowing so you can go fishing. I'm guessing yesterday was a long day being stuck in the cabin for the most part. The pics and videos are great. Keep them coming.

Mrs 2, Breddy, my grandson and I went downtown and had an enjoyable time. Everywhere downtown was packed. It was good to see people out and about again. We walked around a bit and stopped to have an adult beverage (Sprite for my grandson) at a rooftop bar. You get a nice view of downtown Greenville from there.

Next, we had supper at a restaurant called 'Sassafras Southern Bistro'. It was unbelievably good. I had salmon with lump crab over a special kind of cheese grits and asparagus. I will be going back there.

Today, we will chill a bit then drive up Paris Mountain. The view up there is spectacular. A little lunch after that then home for a nap.

Wow, 2, that supper sounds great!  Now I'm hungry.  Think I'll get dressed and head to the bakery.  They open at 5am, and yesterday I had a great cinnamon roll for breakfast.

Chech, I predict you'll be the only one standing in freezing weather to catch a fish. Beware of bears and other beasts who'll want your fish.

And wow, 2, you and family are a whirlwind outrunning the virus. I have great envy. No restaurants are open over here. McDonald's and KFC have just opened drive-ins and the line of cars means people have waited up to 2 hours for that finger-licking food. Where would they be without American fast food?

OT, the tables in the restaurant were 8 ft apart and the staff wore masks, so it wasn't exactly the wild west yet. It sure was good to go to a nice restaurant again, though.
