Good Saturday morning!

Didn't get as cold as they predicted. It's 32 degrees. They predicted 27. I'm not complaining. Mrs 2 and I have some running around to do, so it can warm up real nice if it wants to.

Good morning.  Coffee

It's COLD again; down into the 20s.  But today it's supposed to warm to about 50 and be sunny, so that's better.

LF and I were given tickets to the Ole Miss baseball game for today, but sitting in the cold doesn't sound appealing.  I  may end up going alone.  OM is playing #1 Louisville, and lost to them last night 7-2 last night.  Only thing worse than sitting in the cold watching baseball is watching the hometown team lose!

Watched golf yesterday.  JT played poorly for the second straight day, and he missed the cut.  So did Phil.  Tiger made the cut, but is far behind the leaders.  Maybe today will be better.

You?

Yeah, and the holes must have all been cut on mounds.  The putts seemed to break differently from slightly different angles.  Tough putting for sure.

I hate that none of our favorites are in contention. Maybe Tiger will catch fire today and make it interesting. I can't believe yesterday's Phil was the same Phil that was making it from everywhere last week.

Phil was prolly burned out.  He's played a lot lately, and he was in contention last week.  He just started missing fairways yesterday, then his chipping went crazy.  That poana grass got him too.

If my sciatica wasn't such a b**ch, I'd play golf today, but can't 2 days in a row. I play with my group tomorrow, so I've got to be in decent enough shape to not embarrass myself.

Hate that for you.  Maybe you need to check with another doctor.  Must be something they can do.

It's better since I've been going to the Chiro, but not as good as I would like it to be yet. I see him again Tuesday. As bad as I hate to admit it, NALT may be right. I might get better results with an inversion table. I'm just not a big fan of being upside down.

REALLY?
Have you tried a witch doctor yet??  Maybe hanging your leg out in the moonlight?
There's a lot of new treatments for nerve damage (which don't concern being upside down).  You need to treat the problem, which is likely inflamed nerves.

I've been to two chiros in my life. They both say the issue starts with the spine, and I have scoliosis. When I went to the first one 5 years ago, I was greatly improved, but it took about 6-8 visits. I've had 3 with this one. I'll give him a chance before doing something else.

Good morning folks.  Sorry about that sciatica acting up 2.  Maybe if you tried an inversion table... Being upside down is a bit uncomfortable admittedly.  Whenever I use mine I just don't hang there for long, maybe a minute.  Then I right myself so that I can actually catch my breath and swallow for a couple minutes.  I'll usually invert two or three times before I quit.  It really does help to elongate the spine which takes the pressure off of the nerves.

Chech, you are almost right.  The inflammation of the nerves is the pain sensation that he is feeling but nerves don't tend to get inflamed just because.  They do so as a result of something else such as the vertebrae getting out of line and pinching them.  Or it could be a muscle strain.  Relieve the cause and the nerves tend to settle down.

Oh, it is cold here too but not as cold as predicted.  We were supposed to get down into the 20's but by my account we only reached about 30 degrees here.

Chiilly morning at 37 degrees, but not too bad. High will only be 50 though. That's giving me second thoughts about playing golf. Will have to see if the desire to beat cabin fever outweighs the dread to play in the cold.
