The Alabama Wildlife Federation will host its annual Wild Game Cook-off at the Birmingham Zoo.  That makes me chuckle.

Is the zoo overpopulated?

Here we are at Thursday and I've yet another meeting this morning. Yesterday was a long one after a lengthy meeting in Columbia. I'm about met out.

One of the nice things about retirement, besides fishing and naps, is being excused from meetings.  I don't miss them.  Something for you to look forward to, 2.

The Braves are inching closer.  Saban seems optimistic about players returning for SEC play.  We survived another 9-11 anniversary.  I got my car washed and oil changed.

And 2 didn't post a camel pic!

I think I've always been an "old soul" because even when I was a teenager/early 20's I still couldn't stay up late without paying for it the next few days...

Yeah, these meetings are getting the best of me, Chech. Making me forget to post camel humps and stuff. 

Tomorrow is gameday and I'm up here surrounded by USCe and Clempson fans, neither of which believe that USCe has a chance against Bama. I hope they are right. 

The Braves lost last night and the Nats won. They still have an 8 1/2 game lead. The magic number is still 8.

Saw those baseball scores.  Bummer twice.  The Braves are making it dramatic.

We've got football tonight: Washington State vs Houston.   

We had a popup shower yesterday; first rain in 3-4 weeks.  Our grass is crispy.  Somebody tell NALT he's out of business.

Lots of chat about Antonio Alfano being disciplined by Saban.  Sure hope he returns to the team.

Good morning folks.  Good to see you again OT.

Chech, I haven't been mowing nearly as much this year as the last few due to being gone.  I'm still ready for it to be over for the year though...Fortunately, Dad's yard hasn't had any rain in a while so it really can go another week before I mow it.  The same goes for the yard at church.  My other "big" yard only gets mowed every 2 weeks though and this is the weekend for that.  Plus, I picked up another yard last week that he wants mowed weekly.  I mowed it last year then he had zoysia sod put down and he didn't want my commercial mower on it so he started taking care of it himself.  He is gone for a couple of weeks so he asked if Runt and I would come over and use his equipment to do it. I just hope we don't break his equipment...  A lighter weekend will be good regardless...
