Good Thursday morning. Rainy and windy here right now. Been raining all night, so the rainfall has been significant.

Pensacola was mostly spared from anything severe yesterday. All three daughters are fine. Panama City and Mexico Beach, not so much. Utter devastation in Mexico Beach. PC looks like a war zone. Prayers to all the afflicted.

So glad to it hear it, buddy. I was really worried about y'all yesterday. I saw the pictures from Panama City and Mexico Beach and was just floored. PC doesn't even look like the same pacle I used to go to as a kid. I am so concerned about what this storm is going to do to the local economy down there, which I know is the least of worries for residents today. I know just getting their lives back together is priority one.

True, CB. It's a total tourist town. Going to hurt those folks for a long time. Unfortunately, we all pick up the tab to get them back on their feet, but it will help cushion the blow for them.

PC hasn't been PC, nor has Destin, wince the late 1960s.

Say what you will about their loss of tourism, but it would have been much worse if this storm had hit earlier in the hurricane season.  They'll be up and running for spring break.

Oh well, done with him for another year.

Tomorrow is game day. I’ve gotten spoiled with the string of day games. Guess I’ll have to find a way to stay awake until 7:00.

I cut down a big holly tree in our yard yesterday.  Used a hand saw rather than mess with the chain saw.  Mistake.  It took much longer than expected, and now my shoulder is sore.  Old age!

Speaking of such, hope Preacher is better this morning.  His back crapped out.
