Good morning.  Very nice day here too.  Cool, but not too cold. My stump is totally burned up as far as I can tell.  Bama won. Tennessee lost. Notre Dame lost. The Booger-eaters of West Georgia (Awbren that is because I refuse to accept they are within the borders of Alabama) beat UGA.  Oh well, 3 out of 4 ain't bad, right?

Look at it this way.  We've gone from 'the most dominant defense in football' to a typical SEC defense.  We're still alive.  And we've got an offense!!

No duck kicking today, Chech. I only walk 5 days a week, so I give them a break most weekends.

Thought a lot about the game last night. Yeah, we did lots wrong, but it all boils down to Jalen. He definitely has the "it" factor. He ain't nuttin but a winner. He carried the team on his shoulders when he had to, and we won. Think about it, even in the Clemson game, the last time he touched the ball, he made a TD. We just ran out of time to put the ball back in his hands.

Tua may very well be more talented than Jalen, but when the game is on the line, there is nobody else on the planet that I'd rather have leading the team than Jalen.

Congrats to him, Calvin, D Smith and the rest of the team for pulling one out. Who knows, maybe Jalen has the Golden Horseshoe now.

So, I ordered 4 display boxes (5" x 6") on Ebay.  The lady who owns the store in Knoxville ships them to me.  They arrived Friday late.  Then a second, bigger box arrives.  I look at my packing slip, and it only lists the 4 that I ordered.  

I open the big box carefully.  It contains 48 (forty-eight) display boxes.  So I contacted the lady via Ebay, and she says "My mistake. Please take them to the post office and send them back to me.  You'll have to pay, and I'll reimburse you."

I think "Come get 'em yourself or send the money".  LF says, "It was a simple mistake.  Just haul them over and send them."  But the P.O. is closed Saturday anyhow for Vets Day.

Was it a scam?  She sends another message, then another.  Finally I get 13 messages (all on Saturday).  She wants them back, or I can buy them for $100 ("They're worth $153.")  What to do?  I'm trying to watch football.

I contacted a friend who runs an antique mall to see if he wants them.  He does.  So I try to buy them from her, but PayPal won't take her email (the one she sent me).  I'm trying to watch Miami vs ND, and she keeps sending messages.  Finally I ignored her and watched football until late last night.

Suggestions?
