Nasty chilly here.  Cool north winds, chance of rain all day, and a high of just 53. Brrr!

Sounds like several of our players are sidelined from practices this week, including some O-linemen we didn't expect.  Read the practice thread.  But at least Minkah is back out there trying to play.  Hopefully Da'Shawn Hand will be well enough to contribute this week.

The injury reports continue to look concerning.  Only good news is that Mississippi State has injury issues of their own.  Might be a Big-12 type of game.  

Hope Preacher had a good Wednesday-night service.  I stayed home.

Mrs 2 will be driving back up today if the rain ever lets up. Radar shows rain all the way from NOLA to here. Future radar shows most of it out of her way by about 9 AM. Wish her luck.

Yeah, the Bama-MSU game may be an offensive war. Not "Bedlam" mind you, but maybe about half of that. Maybe that should have been called "Belam", 'cuz there was no D in that game.

Mississippi State played poorly against U Mass last week, so I'm not really sure what's up with them.  They have lots of injuries, but should get some of their players back for us, so expect them to be competitive.  

Except for our injuries, the matchup with us is very favorable.  MSU bases everything on their running game.  We usually stop the run.  But without our best players, MSU could be just as tough as LSU.
