I've never built, nor been in on building a privacy fence. So I am watching. But I do know how to build almost any other kind of fence. With split rail, there are many different gates to pick from, many more ornate or elaborate, than you would build yourself. You know about gate hinges?

What do I need to know?  I am using 3, the only recommend two.  The girl has the engineering under control.  We will use tensioners, it will be two 4' gates that open in the middle, one staying shut most of the time.
