Busy day yesterday and another one coming up today. It's been a while since I've had to "go" to work. Gonna take some getting used to again.

Crazy weather in the Pacific NW.  Can't believe it's 106-107 in Oregon!  Count your blessings that it's not here!

Football practice starts tomorrow.  FINALLY!  

The talking heads on Finebaum think Da'Shawn Hand won't miss any playing time.  Finebaum even admitted he passed judgment before knowing that Hand wasn't driving the car.  Hopefully they are right!

No squirrels died yesterday; no tomatoes missing.  But last night LF and I heard a noise outside.  There were 5 (FIVE) raccoons on the deck; a big one and 4 teenagers.  What next?

Nope.  They just walked all over and climbed on the bird feeders (which were empty).
They were exploring; maybe getting a raccoon merit badge.

Yeah, the Braves suck again. The Cubs hurt their feelings right after the All Star break and it's been down hill from there.

Good morning folks.  I came in an hour late this morning and plan to do the same tomorrow.  2, good luck with the "work" thing.  It really isn't as bad as you are probably imagining... Chech, have you already left for the NW?  Oh, and what's next?  Those coons will probably not steal your tomatoes.  More likely they will steal the entire plants... We have a huge problem with coons because Mrs. Nalt feeds them.  Last year I had to start trapping them and hauling them away to stop them from getting under the house and tearing things up like the duct work...

I'll be taking the day off this Friday.  The youngest boy and I are going to have a "father & son" day with just the two of us and I am taking him over to Atlanta to watch the first game of the Braves/Marlins series.  He has been begging me to take him since his baseball season ended.  I'm really looking forward to it but it is going to be a surprise for him on Friday morning.

News here is about 2 Ole Miss players caught shoplifting.  Both played defense; both were expected to play this year.  Both suspended.
