Gonna try again today and make some of me taking down that other row of privets.  Hopefully nothing goes terribly wrong again (it's not muddy over there).

Remember when steel was cheap?  Hasnt been that long ago.. 2004 or so.  I remember running 10" steel casing down a 170 foot hole (this is deep for my kind of drilling) up in sheffield.  Nowadays we use PVC.

Ok, this photo shows a lot.  Directly behind the tractor is the privets from the videos, the big one that I got stuck driving into its hole is the one of the right.  To the far right you see the stump of the huge tree I fell using the tractor that freaked everyone out.  To the left you see the tree I ratcheted to.  For reference beyond those two tall pines in the distance is where the pond is.

Yes.  I agree, it worked out fine.  No damage, lots of mud practice.
