What's on tap for today, besides bb?

gonna try and burn the piles, finish clearing out an area in the center of the property where the drainage ditch disappears and it gets muddy for a bit.

Also going to clear those privets along the fence on document the crap out of it for the website.

Do you have a foot pedal for shift differential? Great for muddy areas, rather than  using the 4WD.

Yes.  I keep it in 4wd most of the time though, should I not?

just regular old clearing.  This is an area dead center of the property I had never been until all the way through until a couple of months ago.  It is basically a make shift landfill of wood, metal, drums, and tires, but I have uncovered more than a truck of scrap tin.  It was all fenced off separately and forgotten about.  This is the area where I found the truck bed used as a trailer when I first bought the property.

I am no longer giving away my scrap metal.  It's going 17 cents a pound right up the road.

Once the drainage line is cleared, I am going to carve it out with the box blade and line it with gravel, or rip-rap if I can get a hold of some.

If you are making many sharp turns in 4wd you'll see you are unnecessarrily tearing up the turf. Rarely do I use 4wd. Snow. Mud. More wear and tear- worse mpg.. It is snowing now==4"

It makes all the difference when pushing over trees.  I will keep that in mind though and try and notice when I dont need it.

Just popped in to say good morning. I'm off to Buford, Ga. to play golf. Pray for me. That's where "Deliverance" was filmed.  Sad

I rarely need to shift to low either. But that is good when running implements.

what do you do then?  run laps?  I use low whenever I am working and high when I am traveling.  Keeps me from having to play with the throttle too much.

I use low when running the post hole digger or tiller or plowing. Climbing steep inclines.
