LF and I went out to an outdoor gathering and bbq tonight.  They fed 200 people, half a chicken each, with bbq beans, slaw, etc.  It was a feast.  We gathered around a bonfire to listen to music, enjoy drinks, then we lined up at the huge grill to be served.  Nice to live in a small town with good friends.  Wish you could all have joined us!

Thanks, Preacher.  The chili sounds good too.   

We're STUFFED.  But it was great.
This has been an annual event since 1991.  The grill is about 15' long, piled with chicken.  They cook it all day (slooooowly).  Spicey and wonderful.  Great that it was cool (47 tonight already), so the bonfire felt toasty.
