That's the kind of thing that has yours and NALT's backs and necks messed up.

I wondered what was causing that.

Umm, C5-C6... or, if you mean what facility, Huntsville Hospital.

We'd been dry for over 3 weeks and have managed to get a little rain this week just in time for the purple hull pea patch we planted about 10 days ago.   We've got a mighty nice stand of them coming up if we can just keep the darn deer from eating all the pods while they're green.

Get you a slab of corn bread, break it open in a bowl, and then put some peas on top with some juice.  Yum.  Not bad with some sauerkraut on the side too.

You had me hooked with "purple hull pea patch" and "cornbread" but then you totally lost me with sauerkraut...

That sauerkraft is mighty good on a sausage and biscuit too.  Put a little tad of mustard on there to really set it off.

IMO, sauerkraut isn't worth throwing out to the hogs...

We are getting rain today even though the weather liars said it would taper off and basically quit early this morning.

I left Greenville, SC yesterday in the rain. It rained for 3 days straight, almost continuously. There were flood warnings there when I left. It rained on me all the way through Atlanta, then off and on until I got to Montgomery, then it was clear sailing to Pensacola.

Once I got here, the heavens broke loose. I'm pretty tired of this el-nino myself.
