Happy 2's Day to Kool (2) and the Bunch.

I will be leaving work at lunch today for an aunt's funeral.   It was a rough few days for my parents.  My Mom lost a sister on Saturday, and yesterday my Dad found out his only living sibling has cancer.

Howdy folks. 

Doc, I am very sorry about your aunt passing and your dad's sibling having a cancer diagnosis.  Hopefully, prayfully that diagnosis won't be a death sentence.

There were reports of baseball size hail in my little town yesterday morning (actually during the night before) but when I drove around I didn't even see the first sign of any hail damage.  My guess is that if there was any hail, it was most likely out on the mountain where there is still a "Woodville" address.

I had another appointment with the neurosurgeon yesterday afternoon.  We have a tentative schedule for surgery on Tuesday the 27th to install the OrthoFix M6-C Artificial Cervical Disc.  If it relieves my pain I'll be happy. If it allows the nerve to settle down enough so that my thumb isn't tingling and numb then I'll be ecstatic.
