The hand camel made it in just in time. 

Happy Thursday. The front moved through here about 4:00 yesterday, which brought some brief heavy rain, then cooler air. It's currently 54 degrees here in Taylors, SC. Brrr!!!

Good morning folks.  Pretty cool here this morning.  I definitely sleep better when it is cooler but when I'm awake I don't like it very much.  If it would just hoover around 70 degrees all the time then I'd be ok with it... BTW, it was 52 when I left home this morning... Blizzard

It's finally Friday, wooot!!! A chilly 49 degrees though. Gonna be a long day. My office manager's husband tested positive for covid yesterday so I told her to stay home today.

My (vaccinated) 55yo sister had COVID this past week. She and her husband had just gotten back from Europe a few days before.   She felt pretty darn rough for a couple days and then immediately sprang back.  Some people may think that the vaccine failed her, but I think the vaccine did wonders for her.  It's likely she would've ended up much worse off (she has some underlying conditions).

NALT, I think you mentioned long ago that you knew her husband (Mike E.).  I think he may have spoke at your church once or twice.

That's right.  Mike did come and preach for us a few times years ago.  I still see Mike occasionally in the building I work in.  Of course, not so much since the China virus got a foothold in the U.S...  Glad that she is doing better.
