Good Sunday morning!

Well, we escaped the Swamp with a win. That's all we can ask for, even though it was an ugly one. We stomped a mudhole in them the first quarter then got pushed around for the last three. Somehow, we held on for dear life and survived.

Lots to work on this week. Our O line still hasn't gelled and our entire D, which was supposed to be great, got exposed yesterday. Mullen has a way of doing that. To Florida's credit, they had a great game plan and they executed well. Still, we expect more of our D than what we saw yesterday. Hopefully, we have a good week of practice and correct some of these issues.

Anyway, great win and Roll Tide!!!

Well said, my friend.  We needed this win, and 2 points is still a win.  Whew!

We had 3" of rain here yesterday, so the Ole Miss game was delayed almost 2 hours.  I stayed up watching the Ole Miss - Tulane game until almost midnight (fell asleep numerous times).  Tulane had no answer: OM 61-21.  Kiffin has OM rolling.  We'll have to outscore them again.

Yeah, I really wanted to watch some of that game, but with the rain delay, I couldn't hang. Tried to watch some of the Auburn-PSU game but realized that I hate both of them and switched to the USCe-Ga. game. That was a snoozer.

Think about this instead:
Last year when Ole Miss nearly beat us YOU won the picks that week.  Did you win again yesterday?  Just wondering.

Ricky got 2nd but he nailed the yardage while most people were off by triple digits.

Sports news is full of comments like "Alabama in meltdown" and "Bama fans disillusioned".  NOT.

Hey, we won.  I'll take a road win against Florida at any score.  We had minimal injuries and know our QB can handle adversity.  I'm still buckled in.

I agree. Besides, what would they work on in practice if it was 56-0?

Either way as said we won but I wonder what each game will do to us? Do we improve or just stay humble. RTR!

Hello, all.  It's a soggy Monday morning here in North AL.  It looks like it might remain that way for the next couple days, and then we have a cool down.   Highs around 70 and lows around 50 - that's what I call perfect temps!  Luckily we get those for about a week in the spring and fall.    Panic

Good Tuesday morning! Been raining here since 7:30 yesterday morning. Yuck!  Undecided

We must be neighbors!  On the way home from Montana it was hot and dusty all the way through Nebraska and south through Missouri until I got within 50 miles of Memphis.  A wall of thundershowers awaited me.  Through the heavy rain I saw a car broadside in the highway (I-55), so I slowed and maneuvered through the debris.  He'd hydroplaned and flipped.  It rained hard all through Memphis and to home, AND IT'S STILL RAINING 4 DAYS LATER!

Roll Tide.

Good morning folks.  I made it to Gainesville and back in one piece.  It was a long drive down and another long drive back home but it wasn't all that bad actually.  The game was GREAT and the atmosphere was incredible.  The fans around me were very gracious.  There were a bunch of fans near the Bama section that started chanting something ugly towards Bama.  That got the Bama fans started then it was a back & forth between them.  I did see at least one water bottle thrown from the Gators over into the Bama crowd but nothing was returned that I saw.  I think the officials got it under control after the bottle.

As someone said though, our defense got exposed.  I'm just glad that Mullens didn't play Richardson at QB because from every Gator fan I talked with, he is the real deal and is a much better passer than Jones, or whatever his name is...
