The heavy stuff is almost here. Will be driving to work in a pouring rain. At least it will just be for a half a day.

Just saw pics of an area in Rankin County, Ms on TWC, that was hit pretty hard. No mention of fatalities, so that's good news.

I hope everyone has a good Good Friday!

Reports this morning are 2 KILLED in Mississippi and 1 KILLED in Alabama.

 Sad

We've got light rain this morning.
Tuscaloosa had a scare.  RE told me they had winds at 60-70 mph with that squall line at dinner time last night.  YIKES!

Yeah, I just heard about the fatalities on TWC. I was worried about Tuscaloosa. I saw the radar last night as it was going through there and it looked nasty.

Here's the story about those killed yesterday by the storm.  Lots of folks lost their houses too.  Very rough day, especially in southern Mississippi and Alabama.

Odd news:

Damage was heavy in the Mississippi hamlet of Learned, about 20 miles (32 kilometers) southwest of Jackson. Large oaks were uprooted from saturated ground, landing on at least a dozen houses.

One belongs to the family of Jesse Qualls, a Mississippi State University student who was on his way home for Easter when the storms hit. He says his mother had gone to pick up his sister from school and returned to find a pecan tree had crashed through Qualls' bedroom and bathroom. His dog Dukey was uninjured.

Good morning folks.  Raining here too...I'm so ready for the rain to stop for a few months...  Today is my youngest 11th birthday. I woke him up to tell him "Happy Birthday" before I left for work.  He smiled at me and said, "Mom beat you to telling me that."  Lol. I knew she would...  Hope you are all well and safe today... Even you Doc... Wink

Winter is back.  Sad Currently 45 degrees here. Will be windy today. Against my better judgement, I'm meeting my Atlanta golf buddies at Arrowhead Pointe near Elberton, Ga for a very chilly round of golf. Yes, Chech, I have Fireball in my golf bag.

I need some Fireball too.  It's 46 here.
But I see a bright moon out there, so the clouds are gone.  Sun would be nice!  Still supposed to be windy though.
You gonna freeze your golf balls off.
