I've got to make a trip to Memphis today, then tomorrow we head to Virginia.  Thanks for the best wishes, NALT.

Mowed the grass yesterday, trimmed around the flower beds, pulled a bunch of weeds, washed the car, and got everything ship-shape for the upcoming visit by LF's sister.  Having company can be exhausting!!

Got a dental appointment this morning.  Last night I was trying to recall the name of my hygienist.  LF said, "It's the same as the name of a river in Yellowstone."  I thought for a minute:
"FIREHOLE??" 
"No, idiot, MADISON."

Good to see all the responses on here today. Just got back from the vA Hospital when they get my A1C down they will do surgery and relocate my box in my back. The box my actions seem to be perturb the doctor. I am not suppose to be 99% of the things I am doing. Grass cutting, cleaning house, volunteer at the Christian Thrift store is really fun. So we will see. I know the lodge will come cut my grass and wash my cars but doggone all the fun is out. Well shoot Roll Tide anyway. RTR!

All good wishes for your surgery and a quick recovery, Preacher.  But I must say if your idea of fun is washing your car, cleaning the house and cutting the grass, you're a better man than I.

Preacher, I love to mow grass as much as anyone but if doing so is going to be detrimental to the health of my back then I'll either get someone else to mow it or let it grow up.  I totally understand having fun and especially keeping the "other half" happy but you need to think about how happy she will be if you become a total invalid...or worse. For her sake, let others help you. Please...
