Good morning.  

E-cred to 2 for posting pics for me.  I'm in the wifi desert here, so uploading pics is a challenge.  I managed to post some last night from the restaurant.

More fishing today in Hebgen Lake (Madison River, Montana).  There's a cold front coming Thursday, and temperatures are expected to drop: high of 63 Friday; low of 33.  I brought a coat, but didn't expect to need it.

Keep that football news coming.  Any word on Bo??  I heard he left the scrimmage with an injury, but what?

Chechem you be very careful out there brother. I wouldn't you to come back and we be calling you Smokey Bear. ,  Got more rain, thunder and lightning last night. A friend cut our grass yesterday and it is actually green for the first time since the first of July. Loving my coffee this morning. OK watching for all the info coming down the pipe today. Wondering how ready we are getting for the uSCw game. RTR!

Chech sent these pics to me from Yellowstone. He said he could see the smoke from the wildfires and these tanker planes are loading water from a nearby lake to douse the fires.
They were cruising just above the tree lines.

Hey Chechem have a great day fishing today. I am praying the thunderstorms will put out the fires. Probably be smokey on you then. Hope everybody is ready to have a great day. I wonder what is really going on with Sheffield and see if we find out some more today? RTR!

The thunderstorms were spotty, Ricky, and we got zero rain in West Yellowstone.  But I could see rain to the east about midday, so maybe it helped.  A 2-blade helicopter did the water hauling yesterday, carrying a big orange bag like this:



I'm up early and going to drive to the Lamar Valley this morning.  It's the area where the wolves were released and where wildlife is plentiful.  Also there, most importantly, are Cutthroat Trout in the Lamar River.  I plan to visit with them -  .
