Men's bb was pushed to the limit by Australia, but the USA pulled away at the end for s 98-88 win. How did Phelps do last night? I went to bed before he swam.

The men's 4X200M freestyle relay:  US won gold by 2.46 seconds over second place Great Britain and third place Japan.   Applause E-Cred

The US now leads all nations in the medal count with 10 Gold, 11 Silver, and 10 Bronze medals.  Incidently, the US leads in total Gold medals by one over China.  We have 11 Silver to the second place Russians with 7 and trail Japan by one in the bronze medals.   Applause E-Cred Applause E-Cred Applause E-Cred

Phelps is swimming like an 18 year old. He ran away from the field last night. Couldn't hang to watch all of the girls' gymnastics, but glad they got it done.

Simone won EASILY.  Aly came from behind after the 2 Russians bombed their exercises on the balance beam and floor.  The Chinese flopped too, so it was pretty easy to come back.  Regardless, both of our girls were GREAT on the floor exercises.

Getting ready to head back to P'cola. Will be good to get home. Mrs 2 says she's waterlogged. Nothing but rain, rain, rain all week.i guess I'll be driving through it. Oh well, it will be worth it to get home.

I hope everyone has a nice Saturday!
