Chechem in your knife trades do you ever find any Tree Brand Boker's anymore? I know use to in older days we kids talked about a CASE XX but if had a Tree Brand you could really put an edge on one of those that would slide through paper. Well one day closer to kick off this morning. Hope everybody is smiling! RTR!

Sure, Ricky.  Boker is still making them.  I bought a Boker Tree Brand while in Germany last month.  But the older ones are the best.  I have some Bokers from the 1920s; really nice.  Many people like the Boker USA knives (made in Denver now), but I prefer the older Bokers made in Solingen Germany.  Both original Boker companies belonged to the same (extended) family, but have now changed hands.  See Click here for link

I really don't know why it slid by me weak in the upstairs I guess, but I didn't think about a website for them.  , I love the years listing at the bottom of the site. I notice 1974 look like the last upgrade to the knife itself or just the brand maybe. I have an enormous amount of knives here. They are all Case XX knives mostly that I got from lodge brothers. RTR!

Woke up to thunder in the distance. Looks like another wet one. Tropical disturbance in the Caribbean and expected to develop further. Not expected to head this way, however. Whew!

Prayers requested for my middle son, Abel.  He has had some degree of diarrhea for almost three weeks.  About two weeks ago he told us that he had blood in his stool which we confirmed.  This has been constant, multiple times per day ever since.  Yesterday Mrs. Nalt took him to the doctor who is sending him to the hospital today for an ultrasound on his stomach.  I have no idea what his issue could be so I am just hoping/praying that isn't anything serious.

Good morning, everybody. 

Off to visit Shenandoah National Park today.  No fishing (family trip), but the wildlife, trails, and wildflowers should be enough.  It's just a 20-minute drive from here, so we'll spend the day enjoying it.

Hope your day is a good one.  Not much sports news until the Olympics begins.
