  wow that is so beautiful. You are very Blessed to be able to spend some time in that type of country. I have never been there only saw it on TV. I've always heard Alabama is the Beautiful but places like you have shared in your pics show the hand of God unopposed.  , RTR!

Good morning, CRS.  Our family is growing fast; 3 new commitments yesterday.  Looks like we plan to fill the roster by October; otherwise (at this rate) we'll sign 250 this year. 

Lots of national news, but still no decision on the Ole Miss investigation.  The Ole Miss folks are nervous.  Nobody has heard anything from the NCAA lately, and OM takes that as bad news.  I don't know that it means diddly.

Well just got home and got my bubble busted. I didn't get the permanent box this morning that will be done on August 24 at 6 AM in surgery. I did however invite Jake one of the guys working with the DR. MaGhaun who is my spine doctor to come join in the site. He wrote it down and so hopefully he will come join for they are both TIDE fans. Mrs Dottie had a real safe drive over to Bham VA parking deck and back home thank the Lord above. Looking forward to the surgery date but until then just have to tough it out again. RTR!

I bought some prized knives yesterday. I'll post pics when we get home. Several Case knives, but the best is a stag hunting knife from Europe. Huge knife.

We are still enjoying fresh peaches. I had two yesterday. Yummy.

Chechem in your knife trades do you ever find any Tree Brand Boker's anymore? I know use to in older days we kids talked about a CASE XX but if had a Tree Brand you could really put an edge on one of those that would slide through paper. Sure, Ricky.  Boker is still making them.  I bought a Boker Tree Brand while in Germany last month.  But the older ones are the best.  I have some Bokers from the 1920s; really nice.  Many people like the Boker USA knives (made in Denver now), but I prefer the older Bokers made in Solingen Germany.  Both original Boker companies belonged to the same (extended) family, but have now changed hands.  See Click here for link
