Good Sunday Morning.  Great gameday, if nerve racking.  I didn't see too many folks bail during halftime in my section; though several folks left after Bama's last score.

We stopped at the BullPen Steakhouse in Oakman, AL on the way to the game.  Great steaks!  But we barely made kickoff.

No big problem, CP, since the real game started after halftime.

Good morning.  Coffee

Lots of good NFL games yesterday, which took away attention from the NCAA polls.  Looks like we'll have to prove ourselves this year to get any votes!  That should start this week at College Station.

The Falcons and the Tide almost seem alike. They both like to win in the 2nd half, the only difference I can find is the Falcons haven't lost YET. It is coming though. RTR!

Well, I am back from a very exhausting, emotional trip to Vero Beach. My 21 yr old great niece, who was born with Cystic Fibrosis, passed away from it's complications last week.

My nephew and his wife did not hold a traditional funeral. Instead, they organized a "Life celebration" in her honor. There was a sunrise service at the beach at 7 AM yesterday morning. Well over 200 people showed up for it. At noon, one of the local restaurants donated time and food to feed a couple hundred people. The day culminated late yesterday afternoon at a banquet hall, where anyone who wanted to, grabbed the microphone and talked about how her life affected them.

There wasn't a dry eye in the whole place. That kid, who has been sick all her life, had a major impact on many, many people. What an inspiration she was!

Anyway, it's good to be home!

Welcome home, 2.
I'm getting misty eyed just thinking about her.

Lots of news here to read.  You were missed.

Thanks Chech. Missed you guys, too. I'm trying to catch up on everything. It's blowing my mind reading about Grier, Sark, and lard butt Bielema.  Shocked

It's sad when we lose someone like her, the world needs more of them. Pray

Good morning.  Coffee

A bit of rain overnight.  I eagerly went out into the darkness to check the rain gauge; just barely wet; less than 1/8".
 Sad

Sarkisian was fired overnight.  Sad situation.
Looks like Charlie Strong and Butch Jones have saved their jobs for the present time.  Now Mark Richt is getting heat.  Lots of unhappy fans out there!

Plus, it looks like the Ole Ball Coach is hanging it up. Lots of turmoil in college football right now. Of course, our focus is on the A&M game. Another huge road game. I'm nervous all over again.

The OLE BALL COACH will be missed.  Good quote from Coach Saban about OBC's famous, controversial quotes over the years: "Whatever the issue, it probably needed to be said."

Yeah, against A&M we'll see if this defense can overcome the moniker of 'failing to corral those HUNH QBs'.

I'm tired of hearing it, and would love to see our D shut them down.  Then we'd sleep well before traveling to Aubs too.

Would be nice for the offense to show up, too.
