Great morning well until i go fight with the VA. They closed my claim and now I got to go through the whole thing again. RTR!

I feel for you, Preacher. My father was a field director for the VA. He was like an attorney fighting on the side of the Veterans for their benefits. If he were still alive, I would refer you to him.

The DAV Rep approached me today and I have to take him my denial letter if I can find it Wednesday and he said he can give it another go, so I guess I will go forth one more time. RTR!

Good morning, CRS!  Coffee

There will be a bunch of long faces among the Ole Miss faithful this morning, and I'll have to keep my giggles under wraps.

A quick story:
I sold a 1958 Sugar Bowl ticket stub on Ebay this week.  It was the first college game I ever attended, and I had kept the 3 stubs (my father, brother, and me).  It was bought by a guy from North Carolina.  He told me, "My dad was one of the Ole Miss QB's on that team and scored a TD. He would also be Sugar Bowl MVP of the 1960 Game as well."

This was attached:

I remember him, that was in the Doug Elmore era. I didn't miss many Ole Miss games on the radio back then.

That is very cool! I'm guessing your classes will be very quiet today.

Twas a thing of beauty, indeed! I like it too, when the boogs and viles are unhappy. Didn't hurt my feelings that Ole Miss lost, either.

Back in the hunt indeed!
Last week the Oxford paper listed the SEC Power Index with discussion of each team.  Ole Miss was first (homer, no doubt), then A&M, LSU, Georgia, Florida, then Alabama.

Can't wait for this Thursday to see what order they post.  Bet the #1 team will be...

Enjoyed this "good news" about Saban from Jeff Schultz at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution:

"The good news: The schedule might not return Alabama to Athens until 2027.  Nick Saban will be 75 years old by then and only terrorize other players on paper football games as a senior citizen."

Unless Georgia wins the East and we meet in Atlanta, Bwaaahaaahaaa! Ok, I couldn't keep a straight face.

Good point. I think he doesn't want us between the hedges.  Anyway, Saban might be our AD when 75.
