We've got storms -- heavy rain and lightning.  No tornadoes, thank goodness.

I saw that on the radar. Storms all over the southeast. The sun is shining here..............for now.

Just saw something in the driveway.  Went out between showers.

We got some of the storm stuff but it wasn't that bad. Our rain gauge measured an inch and a half of rain and we needed it pretty bad. The worst thing that happened was the last of our Bradford Pear trees bit the dust. The tree is about 25-30 ft tall and it was one huge snowball this spring but no more. Marcell will handle the rest of the tree and then the STUMP will have to be taken care of. OH WOE IS ME[/b, do I ever remember digging up that stump. Cry

J, it's too hot to dig up stumps. Just do like the people who pretend to know something about stump removal, but really don't; burn it.

Yeah, I won't tackle the stump anytime soon but I will have to get all of the limbs to my burn pile in the back of the pasture. Do you realize how many limbs a Bradford Pear has?

Good (rainy) morning.  It's welcome rain here, albeit becoming a flood in some pacles.

Prayers to the folks in Lafayette, Louisiana.  Hope your family is okay, 2.

It happened about 2 miles from where my youngest daughter and her husband live. They are fine. Prayers to the afflicted and their families.

Glad you got your Gibbs back, Ricky.  I surely hope you told them you expect to see an 11 day credit on your bill.

Hey HL actually dog gone if they didn't send me a message on Facebook and tell me that my whole month of August is free.  , I was shocked but evidently they had some bad miscommunication and the customer advocate plus the BBB of East Alabama got involved and got it done fast. RTR!
