J, I learned (what little I know) from friends and volunteer work.  I'm very much a novice at building and carpentry.

Off to learn some more in a few minutes.  We'll work indoors today for sure.  The heat outside (putting up siding) wore me out yesterday.

Wow, hey Chechem, be careful in that heat. I work in construction for 33 yrs. as an electrician and one thing I made sure of was I kept myself water logged. I almost met heat Stroke a couple of times and it didn't take much to learn. RTR!

I'm about to leave to work on the shop again.  Last night we managed to break a water line.  At least we got cooled off!

Just a PVC line beneath a sink.  We capped it, so we'll rework the plumbing this AM.  That old PVC is thin and brittle, so it didn't take much.  We're installing a big, stainless tub sink. 

Got the floor painted yesterday without breaking anything.  Maybe we should have stopped there!

Morning, everybody.   

Back to the workshop today.  We successfully crossed many hurdles yesterday, and got the big, 2-tub stainless sink installed in the old bathroom.  The bath walls are ready for paint (which I don't do), so we'll move on to building shelving for tools today.  That should be more fun. 

Ebay sales are booming.  But what a pain to make daily trips to the post office.  Considering the 'print your own labels' option...

Have a good day, all.  Supposed to be a chance for rain here today.
