Those sure some beautiful pics. It is cool here in the mornings but it warms nicely. I have to take my 2 hummingbird feeders back today they both leak. I do enjoy watching them buzz around. lol, Well hope all has a great day. RTR!

Hummingbirds are fun to watch. Fascinating creatures.

So glad the warm weather is finally here to stay. Will have my follow-up bloodwork done tomorrow, then will prolly cookout every night through summer.  Tongue

The diet will officially be over by about 9 AM tomorrow.

 Jumping Jumping

Well with the diet being over at 9 AM tomorrow I guess you have surpassed your goal. That deserves and "attaboy' and another e-cred. Congrats. RTR!

Imagine the surprise of colonists from Europe when they first saw hummingbirds.  NONE in Europe or Asia.

Ricky, I saw this species in the high mountains of Ecuador a couple of years ago.  Their beaks are so long that they perch looking up so they won't bump into branches.

Thank you, Preacher. I appreciate that. Have one yourself!

Very interesting looking hummingbirds, Chech.

Man I have never seen a beak that long on any bird. I wonder if that is about the longest. You know they wouldn't be able to drink at our feeders because of the way they are built. RTR!

LF would fall off the sofa if one of those showed up at our feeders.  Their beaks are longer than their bodies.  But to see them you have to hike into the Yanacocha Reserve at 12,000' elevation.  Beautiful there.

Good hump day! Things are starting to get busy. My oldest daughter and BF are coming in from Va tomorrow for a long weekend, then I go to SC on business for 2 days next week before going to Myrtle Beach for my annual golf trip. That will be followed up by meeting my youngest daughter and her husband in Biloxi for Memorial Day weekend. June will be just as busy. I'll need July to recuperate.

Here's a pic of students studying for final exams.  Caption was "... studying hard".  No way they can 'study hard' with their text messages arriving every minute.  Look at that phone, front and center.

Yeah, it doesn't look great for the next 10 days. We don't start playing until a week from this coming Monday, so hopefully, everything will have cleared out by then.

They have absolutely no clue what the weather will be like in 10 days.  We went camping a couple of weekends ago and the forecast was for 100% chance of severe storms starting in just a few hours.  Hour by hour they would update the forecast and basically say that any minute now the storms would start.  About 24 hours later they finally gave up and said there was about a 5% chance it might come a little shower.  Of course then it came a storm a few hours later.
