Howdy everyone.

Recently I asked for all of your prayers for my sister-in-law in Iowa as she is struggling with cancer. On September 13, the doctors told the family that she was very weak and slipping and that she may not make it through the night. Thank God for all the prayers from everyone she did make it through the night and now since taking some Chemo treatments, she has improved drastically. She has improved so much that the doctors transferred her to another hospital so she could get better one on one care. She is now up walking and getting therapy each day to restore some of her strength and the days ahead look much brighter than they did on September 13th for her.

Thanks to all of you for your thoughts and prayers, it means a lot to Mrs. J and me.

Evening gents. Most of you know that I interviewed for a position at my office last week. Well, there is bad news and good news. I didn't get the job I interviewed for; however, my boss said that the committee had such a difficult time deciding between myself and the guy who got it that they are in the process of resurrecting another position that had been vacant for a few years and allow me to take it. It will continue to be a part-time position (I am already working part-time) for the time being, but at the end of next fiscal year (May 2015) it could go up to full-time. Also, as a sign of good faith and their desire to keep me on, I have been given a 25 percent raise in pay! The new position actually will fit in with my career desires anyway, as the other position was basically a glorified secretary in some sense. So, the Lord really does work in mysterious ways. I went from not getting the job I wanted to the verge of getting a full-time position in something I would enjoy more!!! I appreciate all of your prayers during this time.

Also, Jamos, I am so happy to here about your SIL's progress! We will continue to pray for her.

I went from not getting the job I wanted to the verge of getting a full-time position in something I would enjoy more!!! I appreciate all of your prayers during this time.
