A very pleasant 63 degrees here. Humidity is very low. Fall is in the air. It actually, officially started at 9:29 last night.

It was cold enough here I ask my wife for some socks before I got up. The knob up here was cold when I got up at 6 AM. Usually frosts on the knob by like halloween. So now that summer is over I can mumble about the cold. Why mumble you say? Good question because my arthritis boys move in and rheumatism kids go to stomping in my knees and ankles. Football helps on Saturday though. lol, RTR!

The Alabama campus was partially "locked down" over night due to a reported "gun" in Tutwiler Dorm.

No gun was found (just lots of other goodies   , so the police re-opened the campus).

- The fire alarm in Presidential Village was due to sensor that was activated by a non-fire event.
- There was no machete with a note on the door of a fraternity.
- No shots were fired at Presidential Village.
- The FBI is not on campus, and did not conduct a raid in Paty Hall.
- No one dressed as the Joker was in Tutwiler or on sorority row.
- There was not a man on sorority row with a box tied to him in a threatening manner.
- No one was shot and no one has been arrested.
- No students were choked on the Quad or anywhere else.

OK everybody she to the dentist and they pulled 2 teeth instead of one and she said he was so good, she didn't feel a thing. She is asleep right now. She made me laugh, she was drinking ensure through a straw. lol, God Bless you all. RTR!

... except I don't think patients who had extractions are supposed to drink with a straw.  That could initiate bleeding.  See if that was addressed on any paperwork she received, or check with your dentist, Ricky.

Howdy everyone.

Recently I asked for all of your prayers for my sister-in-law in Iowa as she is struggling with cancer. On September 13, the doctors told the family that she was very weak and slipping and that she may not make it through the night. Thank God for all the prayers from everyone she did make it through the night and now since taking some Chemo treatments, she has improved drastically. She has improved so much that the doctors transferred her to another hospital so she could get better one on one care. She is now up walking and getting therapy each day to restore some of her strength and the days ahead look much brighter than they did on September 13th for her.

Thanks to all of you for your thoughts and prayers, it means a lot to Mrs. J and me.
