Was yesterday Friday the 13th or something? One of the worst Fridays I've ever had. I won't bore y'all with all the details, but it was capped off by another 2-1 loss by the baseball team, and to the barners, at that!!!

Well, the Bama baseball team beat the boogs last night, so maybe things are improving. At the rate things were going, I was afraid Bama was going to lose the A Day game.

Summary:

1. The first big tree (a big water oak) twisted and grabbed the saw.  I spent 15 minutes freeing the saw;
2. By noon I was sweaty, panting, and exhausted;
3. A repaclement crew of students arrived at noon, so I directed them in clearing the brush and garbage;
4. A scrap-metal man came by to ask if he could have the piles of cans, pipe, and assorted metal we'd piled at the street.  "SURE";
5. Today my back is VERY tired and my arms are sore, but I'm content.

It was a good day!
