Wow! E-cred for a perfect call. It flooded from Live Oak to Tallahassee and let up just a little from there to P'cola. Good to be home.

Glad you are safely home.
But, while you were driving we learned the Toomers trees died.  Shocked

"Good morning."

Our internet server was down at home.  But it works at work!
Hope all are well, healthy, and happy.  RT

I'm healthy enough, but wish my back would heal enough to allow me to play golf again.   Sad

You've mentioned that before. Permanent injury?  Undecided

More like 'repetitive stupidity'.  It never quite heals before I injure it again.
I helped lift some woodworking equipment onto a trailer.  I know: "Even worms learn."

Better take things a little easier and let that thing heal.

I was checking the weather because, oddly enough, it's not raining this morning. I see we only have a 30% chance today. But then I see a little thing about tropical depression #9. Apparently the top 2 performing models have it developing into a cat 2 by Sunday. The U.S. model has it crossing Cuba and cutting straight up the Florida peninsula. The European model shows it heading into the Gulf of Mexico with a beeline for us. At any rate, it doesn't look good for the state of Florida.

Exactly.  I watched the Weather Channel this morning, and that's their summary.  Model 1 takes it right into Miami; Model 2 into the open Gulf.  It'll be a few days before we know if it stays together and threatens Pensacola.

Hey, it's August.  We've been lucky with big storms so far!  Rain, not so lucky.

This is the "sphincter tightening" time of year, late August & all of September. We've been lucky since '04 (Ivan). I hope the luck stays with us. I'd rather have 100 inches of rain this year than a hurricane.

I think you'll get your wish.  What's the total now (98")?
