 Sad and  Pray

This is time for our depth to be a factor. The next guys in line will have a good opportunity to earn playing time.

Question: Who will return punts now?

Bad news.  That's a lot of knees this year.  I expected it of DW, who watched the Ole Miss game on crutches, but after Hart walked off the field and his tweet, I was hoping he would be OK.  Hart has been an impact player, especially on special teams, and he will be missed.  Will we see Christion Jones returning punts?

He would be a good one to put back their.

Terrible news, but now the next man up needs to be ready. That is why we have such depth at RB, you never know. AC gets his chance at WR and KD will move up in the rb rotation.

I kind of have a thought about about how can we stop some of the knee injuries for these guys? I know CNS would like to have that answer but I hate to see these young men ruining opportunity plus the pain they have to endure. God Bless each and all. RTR!

We've been lucky with injuries the past few years but it looks like the 'bug' is biting us this year.  All those pre-season forecasts never mention the impact injures can have on a team.  Teams that play easier schedules or play in easier conferences -- see FSU for example -- have a lower probability of damaging injuries.

Question:  Could this be the end of Dee H's career??  Did he injure the same knee as last year?  What a bummer for this guy.

I thought Christion Jones was the main punt returner? Wasn't he returning kicks from the beginning of the year?

I think the bye week has come at just the right time. Does anyone know if DH has an ACL or is it something else. BC wanted to be a running back, so now will be his chance. Maybe this will be the thing that makes the team really come together and not breeze through, knowing that they are better than every team.

LSU is going through some injuries. It is part of football. How they respond will be important.

This just stinks for all of the guys who are hurt, but I especially feel for Dee. Two years in a row with a serious knee injury. He just can't catch a break.  Sad

will Calloway move back to RB? Sims?

I think you almost have to have Calloway strongly considered to be moved to RB. We have Howell (5'9" 194 SR), Roberts 6'0" 189 FR, and Sims 6'0" 212 Soph) listed as RB's, to go along with Drake, Yeldon, & Lacy. I think Sims will see more use.

The Los Angeles Times has a strange take on our injuries. The article compliments Coach Saban on announcing them and then says this information may help our opponents.
