While Dye admitted Chizik was not as accomplished on the field as Saban, he said the current Auburn head coach is a "better man" than the Tide head coach.

"Saban is the best coach in the country -- I'll grant him that. But he ain't a better man than Gene Chizik," Dye said.

Coach Stallings would do anything in the world to help Alabama if asked. Until that time he keeps his distance. When he goes on a radio show (like Finebaum) or is a guest speaker at an event he promotes Alabama in a very positive way without being an "insider".

Pat Dye has worked his way back into the barn football program. He is a "has been" and constantly embarasses the barn program. To everyone outside of the barn he has become a joke.
