When I try to bring in Eli while watching the game on Directv HD, the tv & radio are not in sync. The tv has a delay.

I have not figured out a way around that yet.  I need a way to pause live radio so I can give the TV 5 seconds to catch up.  I hate hearing what the play is going to be before I can see it on TV.

OK, I finally have a FREE solution.  You just download VLC player, which is a free media player.  Then tune it to your favorite internet radio station.  Then go to the track synchronization window, where you can adjust how many seconds you want for the delay.  I have it working with a country station out of Scottsboro that supposedly carries the games on Saturday, and I can confirm that the delay feature works as advertised.  You can adjust the delay in 1/2 second increments by clicking the little arrow buttons.  I have it set for 5 seconds right now, but when the game starts you can fine tune it and get it exactly right.

I am ready for game day!

The software was a little quirky to figure out, but once you get it going it works great.  I will try to put together some detailed step by step instructions on how to get this setup later today.  But here are some links to get you started if you want to tinker with it.  You can probably get it going without too much trouble.

Here is the address of the live audio stream that you have to open in the VLC player:  http://www.ophanim.net:9300/

Just go to the "Open Network" command and put in that address, then you should be able to play the radio station.  Once you have it playing, find the Track Synchronization menu command and adjust the delay.

I'm not sure what Maryland's laws are regarding this, but I suggest you study the book before you take the test at your new DMV. I hope this helps you.
