This is a little too deep for me to take serious. What do you all think?

B ack on April 11 of this year, I laid out a scenario that would bring ex-Arkansas head coach Bobby Petrino to Auburn. You can read this scenario here.

Now, with allegations of cheating in Memphis on Chizik’s watch, and with Petrino’s mea culpa on ESPN this week, the first pieces of that scenario are coming to be.

If you don’t think the situation in Memphis is serious for Auburn, you’re delusional. Grade changing is serious, especially for an athlete with aspirations of playing college football. Before you bury your head in the sand, the question is, why THAT athlete going to THAT university…a university where a faculty member accompanied him on a visit?

I don't think this Memphis mess will affect them much, except to eliminate a fine recruit.  But it could, and that's why the Aubs are in meltdown this week.

of the ncaa officials in compromising abnormal sex acts is my guess ...

Maybe the NCAA comes after them for this. It seems to me that Emmert is changing the rules a little bit. Scam was under a different NCAA, paternoster changed all of that. The governing body may just be trying to clean some of this crap up. That is my 2 cents worth.

If the counselor says they made the grade changes on their own, it ends any bribery angle. The new car is another possible problem.
