Auburn Fans Going Crazy Over Possible Scandal Out of Memphis

Auburn freshman running back Jovon Robinson is being held out of practice while the NCAA investigates allegations that his high school transcript was falsified.

Memphis City Schools said in a statement that NCAA officials contacted the school district Tuesday regarding allegations involving a former Wooddale High School athlete. The statement said schools superintendent Kriner Cash ordered an immediate investigation and that a school guidance counselor resigned after admitting to creating the fake transcript.

Read some of the other threads, they are even more over-the-top and conspiratorial. It's so incredible it is not believable. Plus, Aubies were calling Finebaum after he reported the newspaper story on the air, accusing him of lying, trying to set up Auburn, twisting the truth, showing favortism, etc. Finebaum kept laughing while reminding the fans he was just reporting what a newspaper was saying.

There are two big questions. Was the counselor paid by someone to change the grades or did they do it on their on? Secondly, what about the supposed new Dodge (Charger is my guess) he might be driving, how was that paid for? Someone stated on Finebaum that the father was injured in an industrial accident and received a financial settlement of $250,000, but the NCAA was having trouble getting proof about the car ownership.
