No charges will be filed against Tennessee junior quarterback Tyler Bray because he “reached out” to the vandalism victim and offered to pay for all the damages to her vehicle.

“The victim called us and said she no longer wishes to prosecute,” Knoxville Police Department spokesman Darrell DeBusk said Wednesday. “The suspect (Bray) reached out to her and told her he would take care of the damages to her vehicle.” ...

He's graduated from hitting broad sides of barns to cars. Wow, he  may actually take UT to 5 or 6 wins this year!

So, I don't suppose that the victim's decision to drop the charges had anything to do with the fact that he's the UT QB. This is the sort of event that should get people up there thinking about the way they value the football program, and the consequences of letting that get out of control. Stuff like this is the canary in the Penn State coal mine.

UT seems to have settled with the police.  But Bray was kicked out of his apartment anyhow.

Well maybe a car is the only thing Bray could hit. It was sitting still. Give him some credit. Another promising kid trying his best to throw his life away. It may be working. RTR!
