I guess my $10 donation didn't do much good except maybe on the PR side to help get a different story out there in the news cycle.

Smitty, you should load up your tractor and go down there to help.  It sounds like they didn't dig deep enough when they replaced the soil.

I read an article that said that "scientists" were digging around the tree(s) and replacing soil. What kind of a scientist shovels dirt? Oh yeah...nevermind.

I'm beginning to think that no one really knows for sure what exactly is going to happen to those dang trees. And I wish, for the love of all that is good and pure, that they would stop referring to Updyke as a Bama fan.  Angry
