How much has Tiger Woods divorce cost the PGA

With the Masters Tournament only a couple of weeks away and golf talk is heard very little in the circles anymore, I have to wonder as to how much has the Tiger Woods marriage collapse cost the PGA.

Before Tiger was exposed of his second life, he was ranked number one in the world, winning regularly, and the tv audience was fantastic because there were all of those that wanted him to win and then there were those that wanted him lose. Today the tv audience has disappeared because Tiger is no longer a factor and who else is there to pull for to win or lose.

With the Masters only a couple of weeks away and you hear very little talk about who will win it this year you have to wonder, how much has Tiger hurt the game of golf. I know he has ruined his personal life but what about the PGA.

A lot.  There was always something exciting about watching Tiger play, no more.  Now he's just another golfer.  I totally expect a huge come back from him.  Like a second career at some point.  But right now you nailed it.  A down Tiger is a down PGA tour. 

All that said, I cannot wait until the masters.

AN is really a an unusual country club. When you see it on TV, it looks like it would be in the country somewhere, but it's not. It's right in the middle of town.

To answer the OP's question, it may not have cost golf as much as you think.  I know several people that were tired of Tiger's dominance (I was not one of them), and now watch golf because it's much more competitive.  You also have the people that watch now to gloat in Tiger's recent string of losses.

This such a prime example I am afraid of a man getting rich, fame and glamour and thinks he is above the law. He has to be forgiven but fathered children just like others he won't be there to raise, oh I forgot he will give them bunches of money. I guess the money would replace a Tigers' love of them each and everyday. Why is Golf let down, because they Raised up that great Poster child and find out that money he has, wants women, women and more attention. I am sorry for him, I actually pity him and Golf and I love watching Golf as well as Racing. I hope someday he gets off the Golf Course and gets into life in reality. RTR!
