It's now 20 degrees.  The trees are icy, the sidewalks slick, and the roads are iffy.  Just north of us it's much worse.  Memphis is a mess.

It is as bad as I have ever seen it up here in Middle Tennessee. They are urging everyone to stay home. Parts of I24 near Bell road in Nashville have been closed off and on for the last 24 hours. STAY HOME!

Wow, that is some rough stuff some of guys are dealing with. We got about 4-5 inches of snow (enough for the cbbama family to stay home), but none of that ice. You guys take it easy down there.

Bad thing about it is that at 16 degrees outside  salting doesn't have much results on the ICE!

Bama whipped the Aubs in bb last night!  Woooot.   

Well, atop everything else we had a dusting of snow last night.  It's rather pretty in the woods now.  The trees are still coated with ice, and yesterday they sparkled when the sun popped out periodically.  It's a winter wonderland!

Saw lots of ice in the trees and roadside coming to SC yesterday, but the roads were clear, in spite of trees being down everywhere. It's supposed to go down to 8 degrees here tonight. They had originally predicted 5 degrees, so I guess it will be a relative heat wave.

Glad to hear we beat the barn at their place last night. Maybe Grant's got Pearl's number.
