Good Tuesday morning.

I'm spent from yesterday. I had to help an agent with his carrier certifications. He had a stroke a couple of years ago, and he's very slow to learn, so it was quite the challenge. It does make me feel good to be able to help him, though. Even though he doesn't sell much anymore, he has lots of clients and has to stay certified to be able to help them, and receive renewals on them. He's good to go for another year.

Good morning.  Coffee

Been a nice week for recruiting, so hopefully the good news keeps coming.  We need some big, quick D-linemen.

Hot as 40 burning helllls here.  Our morning walk has turned into a sweat fest.  I'd be out there in the darkness, but waiting for LF.  Beauty sleep, ya know.

We bought 25 pounds of peaches.  Fortunately they freeze well.  Cold peaches are delicious this time of year, as is cold watermelon.  Our frig is packed with both.  I bought one of those HUGE melons at the farmer's market.

Hot here too, but we've been getting those afternoon T-storms, cooling things off. Unfortunately, the cloud cover sticks around and prevents us from seeing the comet.

We need rain.  None for the past 2 weeks.  The storms keep working around us; maybe today we get one.

We were able to see the comet.  It's getting more faint, so you'd better get out there.  As long as the clouds are moving you can find it (between clouds).  We had a big cloud right over it at first, then "THERE IT IS!"  Pretty cool.  Wish I were in Montana now; beautiful views from there!

Yeah, we got more rain yesterday too. Big storm with lots of lightning. Maybe more today. That comet will be long gone before we ever have clear skies.
