Who has the better chance of being back there next year?  Bama or Obama?

I think it will probably be both.

Hope you are right coach.

I have a hard time seeing Romney win the general election unless he makes a phenomenal pick for his running mate.  I would say Bama and Obama have pretty even odds to make it back, with Bama having better odds to be there next year than Romney.

I'd take those odds for Bama.  There are a lot more college football teams competing for a chance to play in the BCSCG than there are viable candidates running for president.

Romney is behind Obama right now, but the election is still pretty far off, and I expect the numbers to get closer by the time of the election.

Still it is hard to beat an incumbent in an election.  It is easier to defeat a "returning football champion," who gets everyone's best shot.

CNS and the boys won't even be a blip on your TV screen. Not with the democrats milling around for the photo op. They shamelessly do the same to the families of M of H winners.

IDK which polls you have seen but Romney is running ahead (statistical dead heats) in likely voter polls and also in registered voter polls. This is key for two reasons,-- of all registered voters, Republicans vote. Further, ALWAYS swing voters and independents tend to vote against an atrocious economy. HTH

A better question is whether or not there will still be a stick of furniture, a dinner place setting, or an oil painting worth more than $100 left in the White House when Bama returns next spring?
