Bama was pressed very hard for their victory over VCU Sunday night and Georgetown won't be any different. The Hoyas have a rich history in basketball, thanks to their legendary coach John Thompson.
A win in this game can set the table for the Tide to make a run for the NCAA tournament this year providing they can take care of business in conference play, which is never easy. Last year the loses in the non-conference games just killed any chance that Bama had of making the Big Dance. Bama is undefeated so far so this season so this game sort of becomes the icing on the cake as far as non-conference games are concerned. They have a couple more non-conference games to play yet but this one has some bragging rights that goes with the win. Roll Tide!!!
