The best possible scenario is for arky to smoke lsu like a cheap sausage, thereby dropping them below us and arky, and we win the tie-breaker and go to the sec championship game.

I dont thin Arky can beat LSU, but I don't trust the media to get voters to but someone else in the Ntl champ game over Bama so I will root for LSU and hope that OSU loses too. then we are safe. If LSU was to lose to UGA i would ROTFL because there is no way that should happen. UGA is not good, I don't care what anyone says.

19-10 to UK?? What was there margin of victory over Tenn? UF? Vady?

This is correct.  Now, what does this say about Auburn?  Thinking

This would be great, so long as it is such a blowout that it is obvious that they were just lucky against Alabama.  Then we beat UGA, and play Arkansas in NOLA.  And we blow them out again.

Unfortunately I can't think of a single scenario, regardless of how unlikely, that would allow Alabama to win the SEC AND have a rematch with LSU.

Georgia has won 9 straight games, 7 of which were SEC games.  You don't do that without being good, I don't care what anyone says.  I'm not sure what their margin of victory in every game has been, but I do know that if we beat Aubarn as thoroughly as Georgia did I will be tickled pink.

UGA has lost to USCe and struggled with Florida, Vandy, Miss State, UT and KY. Their only good wins have come against Ole Miss and boogers. I just don't think they are very good. Very fortunate to not have to play the "big three" from the west.

If South Carolina hadn't drawn Arkansas this year, they would be going to Atlanta.  UGA got Ole Miss instead of Arkansas.

I'm shaking my head...first time I've ever heard so many folks argue that a 9-2 (7-1) SEC team isn't any good.  Granted, I don't think they're on the elite level that the big 3 are, but they deserve their top 15-20 ranking.  To me that's a good football team.

Also, I'd like to point out that they've improved through the year much more the USCe, and I think they would beat the Gamecocks in a rematch.

I just remembered that I put them at #5 in my poll this week.  Embarrassed

So I guess what I am saying is, yes they are a pretty good team that has made a lot of improvement over the year.  But in the context of the top 3, I don't think they have much of a chance in Atlanta.  They have some talent, but they haven't been very consistent this year.  I guess it will depend on whether the good UGA or the bad UGA shows up.

As this weekend should have proved, on any given day any team can win.  SC had the game of their lives last year v. Bama, so you can't count out GA, despite what the oddsmakers will suggest.

I'm not going to worry about LSU or Arky.  I'm just counting my blessings that Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Boise, and Oregon all lost to give us another chance.  That's enough for me.

Good post Chechem! Let's just worry about the Barn, and the rest will take care of itself. Going to the SEC CG would help Trent as far as the Heisman goes, but let's just win the National Championship! Don't get me wrong, I would like to do both, but let's get the NC! Roll Tide!
