LSU week is finally here.

pmull is very wise to be such a young whippersnapper. I think folks may be overrating the LSU "D" but they will still be the best we've seen. Not on our level though.  We can talk "D" in a bar with their fans and they'll at least have SOME idea what we are talking about. Another thing-- not special teams play altogether, I want to be careful not to critisize our coverage units, but the actual kicking may be an issue. I don't think we had to haul out Mandell against UT until maybe the 3rd.

You're right, WV, it will be the best we've seen. You're also right that it is not on our level. The trickeration will not work this year as it did last year. Bring out the hose!!!!

It is kind of sad college football seems to be a two team league then everyone else, but the way things are shaping up we could even see a rematch.  I really hope the way the Tide has looked the last couple games in the first two quarters is just boredom and not a weakness.  I don't really think it is a weakness just a team needing a bye week. 

ROLL TIDE my Bama brothers and sisters, I can't ever remember a Bama team playing like this this far into the season.  Let's be loud this weekend and give their fans a new standard of loudness.

I was buying into the "SEC is down this year" poor mouthin' until I looked at high school coach's SOS rankings. I now think the WHOLE country is down this year. It happens, and let's not be so quick as to point to the SEC as the major example. You were not saying that, 55, but others have been. USCw, OSUc, and UTx, and Va Tech/Miami from the ACC---all down this season. The SEC is filling the top two spots and really should STILL be 1 and 2 on Nov 6.

Watching the end of the USC vs Stanford game last night it also occurred to me that it seems that Pac 12 officials are doing all possible to get their only BCS champion hope to New Orleans, as much as I dislike Kiffin he got a hose job in that game last night.

I will be honest (and normally I am not a Debby Downer)-I have a hard time with using this picture in jest. This is an extreme black mark against the state of Alabama.
