Man oh man, what a game. We had our daughter and 3 granddaughters at the game with us, they are from Cordova,Tn and it was their first game ever to see, and were they ever impressed.

Kelsie had a perfect game going through 5, great job by her.

Tomorrow will be a different game, Georgia has some big bats and Traina will have her work cut out for her. If she can get the ump to giver her some corners she might just get the job done.

I knew you were there and I thought about you during the last two innings. What a great game to witness.  I envy you, being able to see the games I have to follow on radio or gametracker.  I'm ooking forward to a-day weekend, hope to see some baseball, softball along with the a-day game.

Thanks Lee, yes I am blessed to live in Ttown and be able to attend so much of the sports that Bama has to offer. It was a big thrill for my wife and me to see Bama win, but the big thrill was to watch my grandchilren, ages 11-14-17, as they watched the #1 and #2 teams in the country battle it out. They had no idea of how much fun it is to watch these ladies play, but they do now.

I hope we can hook up A-Day and we might even get TAZ to tag along with us.

Thanks for the updates guys.

Roll Tide.  Here is a story on the game.

Quote
No. 2 Alabama softball tops No. 1 Georgia to open three-game series

TUSCALOOSA -- When a pitcher inches toward a perfect game, superstitions start seeping into the dugout. Sometimes the pitcher will sit alone at the end of the bench. Often her teammates are concerned about disrupting the rhythm.

The only thing responsible for ending Alabama senior Kelsi Dunne's bid for a perfect game were some late-inning base runners for top-ranked Georgia.

Dunne was not perfect, but she was as good as she needed to be, leading No. 2 Alabama to a 2-1 victory in front of 2,922 at Rhoads Stadium on Friday night. Game 2 of the three-game series is at 7 tonight.
