Bummer... Two weeks means he'll miss the UTenn game.  That was gonna be a tough game already.  If we're without Bryce.....

Open week follows UTenn so after that hope he'll be in good shape

My thoughts exactly. Hopefully, Milroe practicing with the ones will have him ready.

From what I saw Saturday I think he will be as good as Bryce. His legs will make him even more dangerous. RTR!

Greg McElroy (Tuesday):

“We all know Bryce has an NFL future. We all know Bryce is gonna make a lot of money playing college football, we also know Bryce is gonna make a lot of money playing NFL football,” McElroy said on Always College Football. “If I was advising him, the question and conversation that you have to have is; one, can it get worse by me playing? That’s the big thing because if it can, then you have to measure what’s the likelihood of it getting worse and if it does get worse, what’re the long-term ramifications of having an injured throwing shoulder.”

I doubt seriously that anyone will be able to keep that kid off the field when he feels he's ready.

Before Saturday's game, I was watching a playback of the Vandy game. When Milroe was in, a few times the announcers commented on him making the correct reads and adjusting the play when he read the defense. I find that encouraging.

I agree and he played here with CNS. I don't like some things he says especially about us. He is worse than Rece Davis. RTR!

He sounds like someone who never had an injury while playing at Bama... Huh?

Wednesday:

Alabama still faces uncertainty behind center heading into Saturday’s game against Texas A&M. During his appearance on Wednesday’s SEC teleconference, Nick Saban provided the latest on Bryce Young, stating the quarterback is still considered “day-to-day” after leaving last weekend’s win over Arkansas with a shoulder injury.

He’s doing some things in practice,” Saban said. “He’s still listed as day-to-day, and no decision is going to be made until he decides and we decide from a medical staff standpoint whether he can go out there and functionally do his job.”

Bryce has to be completely ready at 99 to 100% I would think. He will be pulled quickly if he can't go. We have the best back-up in the nation. RTR!

Thursday Oct 6th:

No time was wasted on Nick Saban’s weekly radio show as the topic of the week was addressed right from the start.

How’s Bryce Young?

“There’s no real bad damage or anything like that so it’s not a long-term thing,” Saban said. “But he still has some soreness and we’ll have to make a game-time decision before the game in pregame to see if he can throw the ball well enough to go out there and do his job. So he has been able to practice some."

“Bryce is a great competitor. He’ll want to go out there and play the best he can but sometimes you have to protect players from themselves because they’ve got to be able to go out and create value for themselves and be healthy enough to do it the right way. He’s a sharp guy. He’ll know whether he’ll be able to go out there and do it.”
