Just saw this on another board. Makes sense. If he is not enrolled in class he can participate in work outs or start practice in early August. He has until fall classes start to enroll but that is too much time to miss for an expected starter/key reserve.

Just tweeted out. Says 100% he won’t be back. Said he was suspended and was about to be kicked off the team. This was tweeted 5 minutes ago.

Is this true? I thought as gentlemen on this board with our sisters we needed to post proof? Am I wrong sirs? RTR!

According to an earlier report from Cecil Hurt of Tuscaloosa News, sophomore Eyabi Anoma was not enrolled for classes at the University of Alabama for the fall. He had until Aug. 28 to arrive and get enrolled; however, that will not be the case now. Per multiple sources, Touchdown Alabama Magazine has learned that the talented outside linebacker is back home in Maryland and he is “100 percent” gone for good this time.

The five-star prospect in the 2018 signing class entered the transfer portal back in the spring, but Saban and company got him out of there.

While some have stated the health of Anoma’s grandmother has caused his return home, other sources claim he was suspended about two weeks ago and was “kicked off the team.”

A healthy chuck of the 2019 signing class was in town in time for spring practice. A few of the bigger names, however, were summer enrollees and it will be interesting to see where they will figure into the plan.

Chief among the recent arrivals is running back Trey Sanders. The top-ranked player at his position was the No. 6 overall recruit in the nation, according to 247Sports. After losing the top two threats in the backfield from 2018 in Josh Jacobs and Damien Harris, there is room for competition. True freshman have contributed at running back previously in the Nick Saban era including Mark Ingram, Trent Richardson and T.J. Yeldon.

Defensive lineman Ishmael Sopsher is another top recruit who’ll experience his first Alabama practice Friday. Saban a few times in the spring said summer arrivals might be counted upon to contribute on the defensive line. Defensive end Braylen Ingraham, a defensive end, and tackle Byron Young also arrived in May.

A high school teammate of Tua Tagovailoa who previously played in the Pac-12 is now part of the Alabama football program.

Drew Kobayashi has joined the Crimson Tide as a walk-on.

A former three-star recruit, Kobayashi signed with California in 2016 but left the team in 2017 and went to Washington State as a walk-on.

Kobayashi left Washington State in May.

He was arguably the top receiver from Hawaii during the 2016 recruiting cycle.

Kobayashi didn’t record any stats at Washington State. Exiting high school, Kobayashi was a 3-star prospect and was ranked as the nation’s No. 123 receiver and the state of Hawaii’s No. 5 overall prospect in the class of 2016, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

With the Tide’s depth chart absolutely loaded at receiver, it’s unlikely Kobayashi will see any meaningful snaps.

Prolly be a mop-up player and good practice player this year, but we lose our top receivers to the NFL after this year, so we'll need him in 2020.
