did they just miss a double dribble by UK?

Yep, plus 2 fouls. Frustrating, especially missed foul to Kira Lewis.

After 10 straight losses to Kentucky, and 6 years, Bama finally beats Kentucky today!

Great win!

About time you showed up.

You guys need to buckle up. We are starting to play good basketball. The SEC is very strong this year so we are going to lose some games but when we rebound and shoot the ball well we are hard to beat, especially at home.

Coleman Coliseum is getting old and needs another renovation (or be replaced) but it is a fun place to watch a big game when the crowd gets going. Yesterday was one of those days. I even ran into Jamos.

Great win for the team. They played hard. We had 5 players score double figures and we out rebounded UK on both offensive and defensive ends of the floor. Free throws were critical down the stretch and we hit 12-14 in the 2nd half.

Five star Trendon Watford, 6-9 forward from Mountain Brook, was at the game on his official visit. The coaching staff picked the right game. The student section even held up signs that spelled his name. They say he is similar to Galin Smith with a 5 star offensive game.

We go on the road to LSU on Tuesday. That will be a difficult game.

Warrennolan.com has our RPI up to 27. Our SOS ia also 27. We are 10-3 overall, 1-0 in SEC play.

Below is a sight you have not seen since 2013. A final scoreboard Alabama beating Kentucky in Basketball.

I watched the game this afternoon.  We are much improved under CAJ.  This team has a pretty high ceiling, I just don't understand the inconsistencies in performance.  It seems like we should have won at least 2 of the games we lost.  Maybe that is behind us now.

Under CAJ we have always started slow but improve as the season goes along. Recruiting is going good too.

Plans were announced over the summer. There’s a ten year plan to renovate almost all athletic facilities including Bryant-Denny (with a reduction in overall seating to add more premium seating). There’s a name for the plan but I can’t remember what it is right now.
